In Him the Godhead

God

MOSES AND ELIAS ARE NOT IN ETERNITY BUT ARE BEING KEPT IN ANOTHER HEAVEN – NOT WHERE GOD RESIDES.

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

If no man has ascended up into heaven how could Moses and Elias?

Maybe the Greek word here is different. It is “oo-ran-os.” And it is a different word than usual. It has the implication of eternity.

Joh 3:13 “No one has ever gone up into the presence (eternity) of God except the One who came down from that Presence, the Son of Man.

But what about Moses and Elias? We read about them in Matt. 17:1-6

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. (Mat 17:1-6)

How does one reconcile these verses? According to our above explanation Moses and Elias were in a celestial realm, but they were not with the Father in eternity.

Consider these verses:

Joh 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
Joh 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
Joh 5:26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
Joh 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
Joh 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Joh 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
Joh 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
Joh 16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
Joh 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
Joh 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven (oo-ran-os’), but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

I think this is all explained by the fact that
We don’t yet see things clearly. We’re squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! 1Co 13:12

To see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us now requires the understanding that we will be “in him”, and if we are “in him” we will be one with God.

This is the key to see it all as God sees it, knowing him directly we will know him as he now knows us, this gives us the ability to be “in him”.

This is the key to eternity! We will be “in him” and know him as he now knows us. What is going on in creation, why did he create Adam? Why, it was to create us. So that He God could reproduce.

We will be in God, and therefore part of God. What will we be for eternity? Well, we will be in God.
